Now that you have discovered the main features of the platform, you may be looking to dive into additional options. If you have created an online store you may have found that you can take stock of your product's inventory.
In this article we will help you to create and update the stock of a product.
Creating a stock for a product
To access your Stock Management from the Menu, go to: Store > Stock Management.
Here are the few steps to generate it.
Creating a stock from "stock management" page
On the stock management page, click on +New on the right hand side of the page.
You will then arrive on the page to add stock. On this page, you have to fill in: the name of the stock, the quantity, the unit value, and the date.
Finally, click on Save and your stock is created.
By clicking on edit (small icon represented by a pencil), you can: modify the date, the quantity and the unit value, or also delete the stock you have created.
Add stock or edit stock sold (or loss)
The term "stock sold" means to record the distribution of your stock. You have created the stock and unfortunately 2 quantities are missing. It is possible to distribute these two units of stock by clicking on the button Stock Sold.
In the same way, by clicking on Add you can add to the stock
The procedure for adding or distributing the stock is the same as for creating the stock: fill in the quantity, the unit value, and the date.
Delete a stock
Go to the menu Store > Stock Management to access your inventory list. Click on the Detail button of the stock you wish to delete.
Then to Edit:
The option to Delete is then available
If other stock movements have been added. They must be removed from the add/distribution movements to be able to delete the initial stock.
If a sale linked to a stock is subject to a refund, this generates a supply movement that is not displayed in the interface. You will therefore not be able to delete the initial stock in this case.
