There are some things you should be aware of when it comes to receiving online payments. This article deals with the following points:
What Are Your Online Payment Options on Springly?
With Springly, all online payments - for memberships, donations, event tickets, and store products - are taken via credit or debit card. However, every organization is able to choose the specifics of how such payments are made.
You have two options:
- Receive payments all at once
- Receive payments in installments
- Receive automated membership renewals
- Receive recurring donations
Your first option is to receive your payments in one go. This means that the person making the donation or purchasing the event ticket, etc., will pay you the full amount on the date of purchase.
Your second option is to receive payments via installments, where the person making the donation or purchasing the event ticket, etc., will pay you partial amounts over a given period of time. The amount they pay, as well as the interval period between payments, is completely up to you. This can be edited in the pop-up box that appears when you select By installments (Credit Card) as your payment option.
Paying Via Credit/Debit Card
At Springly, our payment processor uses 3D-secure technology and is 100% safe. When someone makes a payment via your Springly site, they will receive a verification code from their bank by SMS in order to finalize the transaction. Some banks require further validation of the payment, which can be completed using the bank's mobile app. Essentially, this allows the bank to verify that the person making the payment is indeed the owner of the card.
If your payment is not validated, even though the 3D-secure technology is activated on your card, please check with your bank that you have the "liability shift" feature activated.
Important: We accept all cards including Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and debit.
