With Springly, you can add files to the custom pages of your site. If you haven't yet, check out this article to understand all the possibilities with custom pages.
Here we will cover the following:
Where can I add a file block to my page?
Access the page you wish to work on from the Website feature. Follow these steps:
- Go to Website > Menus and Pages
- Hover the cursor over the
of the page you want to rework and click on "Edit page".
- You are now on the page, in edit mode.
You can also access editing option from the showcased site if you are logged in as an administrator, just click on the "Edit page" button at the top of each page.
Adding a file block to my page
Place your block on the page
To add a file to your page, take the block "File" and drop it on the checkerboard at the desired position.
When you place your block on the grid, a window opens. Enter the name you wish to display, e.g. "Download file XXX". Then insert the document and click Save .
Is your document too heavy to use the file block option? Store it on an online hosting service (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc) and embed the access link in a button (option "Webpage from another website").
