Creating and editing a menu

Before starting

So your website has been designed. Good job! But now you want to edit its structure...

This article will show you how to:

• Create a new menu
• Edit an existing menu

Create a new menu

Warning! It is not possible to create 2 level drop-down menus; you can only create the menu and sub-menus (especially the pages). 

To create a new menu:

• Head over to Website > Main Settings > Menus and Pages.
• Click on the button New Menu situated at the top right corner. 

• You will then be able to choose the Menu name and set the access rights to your menu. Read how to manage the visibility of menus and pages of the website.

•  Once you click on Save, your menu will be created and will appear in your drafts. You can then move the menu using the move tool and add it to your menu list.  

Important: Your new menu and pages only appear on the website if they are indexed to the left section. You can review more about re-ordering each of them in this article: Change the order of menus and pages on your Website

Edit an existing menu

To edit the settings of an existing menu, click on the three dots on the right side of the menu name and select Name and menu visibility. 

Delete a menu 

To delete a menu, follow these steps: 

• Move the menu to the Trash section.
• Click on the Trash icon to empty the trash and delete the menu.
