Before starting
Your newsletter is certainly interesting and useful for your community: it would be a shame not to share it with as many people as possible!
The software enables you to offer your blog visitors an easy way to subscribe, thanks to a pop-up system on your pages. Let's take a look at how it works.
Activate newsletter subscription
If you publish articles, practical information, or other relevant resources on your blog, there's a good chance that readers of this content will also be interested in your newsletter.
This is the perfect opportunity to make it easy for them to subscribe to your newsletter during their visit.
From blog pages
To activate or deactivate newsletter subscription from your blog pages, go to Website > Blog pages, then click on the Settings tab, at the top of the window.
You then have the option of clicking on "ON" or "OFF" to propose or reject the registration. This will be materialized by a banner and a pop-up on your blog pages.
You can also choose the frequency of the pop-up. Once this number of days has elapsed, the pop-up will reappear on the page for the same visitor.
Finally, choose which of your existing mailing lists you wish to assign new subscribers to. Click on if you want the new subscribers to automatically join your community. In this case, all the information required to be added to the community will be requested, and the people will be counted among the contacts that impact your AssoConnect subscription.
From the footer of your site
You can also offer newsletter subscriptions from your website, at the top and bottom of the page. To do this, simply activate the option from Website > Settings and Themes > Footer section.
From there, click on the "Newsletter subscription" checkbox, and select the emailing list in which to assign people who subscribe via this method, and choose whether or not to add them to your Community.
Similarly to the previous case, if you opt to add them to the Community, all the regular information fields that you have set up will be required, and the people will be counted among the contacts that impact your Springly subscription.
You can manage your non-community lists from Communication > Email Campaigns, in the Lists tab.
Banner and pop-up appearance
That's it, you've chosen to offer subscription to your newsletter in your website. Beautiful! But in concrete terms, what will this look like for visitors?
At the bottom of each blog page, they'll find a banner inviting them to enter their e-mail address in order to subscribe to your association's newsletter.
Once the visitor has browsed the majority of the page, a pop-up will also appear on their screen, giving even greater visibility to the registration.
This pop-up follows the theme of your site, with the color of the button being the same as the one you have defined for the buttons on your website.
Now there's no reason for your blog visitors to ignore the existence of your (excellent) newsletter. Here's to new subscribers, and the extra visibility that goes with it!
