Before you start
You've created a survey to ask your community questions and now want to distribute it to them.
Polls are only accessible to logged-in members (who have set up a login area). You cannot create a survey open to the public. This ensures that people don't complete your survey more than once.
This article explains how:
Publish a survey on the site
Save survey
The first step is to create your survey and save it with the status "Published".
Publish a survey
To publish the survey on your site, you need to create a Survey page to display it.
This is done from Website > Menus and Pages by creating a Survey-type page. Once created, simply drag it into one of the site's menus to put it online.
All your surveys with published status will be displayed on the same page. Only one page of the survey type can be created. If this option does not appear in the selection list, this means that a survey page has already been created.
Send a survey by e-mail
Get the survey link (URL)
While there's no actual poll-sending functionality, you can easily retrieve the access link, which you can then share.
To do this, click on the Preview button that appears when you hover your mouse over the survey.
Once the preview is open, copy the URL of your survey displayed in your browser's access bar. In our example, it would be: https://greeley-grizzlies.springly.org/surveys/12878-club-feedback.
Send survey by e-mail
Once you've copied the URL, simply paste it into an e-mail to send your survey to your members.
In the case of an email campaign, you can add a button redirecting to this link and copy the survey access link there.
