Understanding Zapier
Zapier is an automation platform that connects different applications together. It works on a simple principle:
- A trigger: the event that starts the automation (e.g., "a new contact is created in Springly")
- An action: the operation that is executed in response (e.g., "create a contact in Mailchimp")
Each automation created in Zapier is called a "Zap".

Currently, Springly only offers triggers in Zapier. This means you can use Springly events to trigger actions in other apps, but not the other way around. Springly actions will be added in future updates.
