This feature gives you an overview of the transactions and the related cash flow. It facilitates your management control by allowing you to export a transaction file and a payment file.
This article covers the following points:
How to access the export page
You can access the export of payments and transactions from Accounting > Quickbooks.
Carry out the export
The export will list all transactions and payments related to donation and membership forms from your main platform and dependent advanced groups.
In the case of an independent advanced group, the export will be done from the Documents page of that group.
To start the export set the date range, and click Submit.
The export will be sent within 1 hour to the email address linked to your user account.
You will then receive a download link in the email, valid for 30 days.
Presentation of the export data
The export is in CSV format, which you can open with Excel. The transactions and payments are sorted from oldest to newest.
If you are using the export to track online sales, you can filter the export to show only transactions/writings related to that payment method.
Export of payments
In the export, you will find the following information, among others:
- The date of the payment and its amount
- The number of accounting document in the software
- The payment method
- The checks/discounts that may be linked
- The transactions that may be linked
Export of transactions
Due to a technical limitation, a transaction ($50) with two participants (2x$25) creates two lines (2x$50). You can delete these duplicates via the transaction ID.
The export of the transactions shows in particular:
- The transaction ID
- The linked form/ticketing
- The date and the amount
- The payment method
- Discounts and fees, if any
- Outstanding balance
