You made a mistake in the actual date of a transaction when you added it, and you'd like to change it while keeping the other transaction information.
This article explains how to do it and what the impacts are.
Modify the date of a transaction
- First, go to the Forms & Campaigns tab ( Events > Choose your event),
- Click on the three dots, Manage Registrants
- On the list of Attendees page, select the transaction by clicking on the " Detail " icon (eye).
- This will take you to the transaction page. Click the Edit button (Next to the payment date)
- Now you can change the transaction date.
Once the transaction date has been modified, this operation will have several impacts, which we explain below:
Impact of a change in transaction date
By making such a change, you are indicating that the transaction date (date of listing) did not take place on date X, but on date Y.
This will have several impacts, depending on the applications you have activated:
- In Accounting: the sale date will then be modified. NB: If you have a single payment related to this sale and the payment date is the same as the sale date, then the payment date will also take the same date (i.e. date Y).
- The transaction date will also be updated on invoices and other payment certificates.
