Before starting
Your form (memberships, events, online store) has already been published, and some services have already been sold. The proposed rates and formulas can no longer be edited. However, there is a trick you can use to get around this problem.
Modifiable and non-modifiable elements for a Price
When a unit linked to a tariff has already been sold, certain parameters - such as the price, the tariff title, or available stock per tariff - can no longer be modified. Others can be modified at any time: for example, you can increase or decrease the number of maximum sales even after sales have begun.
Modify the price or title of a Tariff
The procedure is similar for membership, event, and online store forms. Only the titles may change.
Please note: this feature does not apply to donation forms.
Here are the steps:
- Go to the configuration area of your membership or event form ;
- In step 2 - Prices, click on the Settings (wheel icon) of the price to be modified;
- then click on + options : for the Limit the number of participants to this rate or Maximum quantity available (for the Online Shop) option, you'll see the maximum number of units defined during the initial configuration of the form.
To get around this blockage, you can follow the instructions given in the warning message:
- Uncheck the Show Price option in the price list;
- Create a new tariff by clicking on +Tariff below the existing formulas;
- Check and fill in the maximum number of participants you wish to apply (in more options ) ;
- Validate this new rate before saving your form.
People registering for your online form will no longer see the service whose sales have been suspended.
For your part, you can always manually register a person for the initial service whose sales have been suspended: the words " (Online sales suspended)" will appear next to the tariff name.
