Before you start
Whether your association has created its website on Springly or not, you may be wondering how to obtain your own domain name. This article explains how you can entrust this operation to Springly (paid option).
If you already own a domain name, please see the article Linking your site to a domain name you own.
Access the domain name management panel
From your administration area, go to Website > Settings and Themes > Domain name
You will then be redirected to this page. Then choose the I do not have a domain name option.
Get a domain name
Enter your chosen domain name (my-site.com) and check its validity and availability.
The domain name you choose may already exist. In this case, we can't buy it for you. Try variations by changing the extension (.fr, .com, .info, .net, ...) or the name (mysite.com, my-site.com, ...).
We don't offer email addresses linked to your domain (contact@domain.com), FTP servers or specific redirection between pages. In this case, you need to buy a domain via your own provider and choose the I have a domain name option.
Validating your domain name
If your domain name is valid and available, confirm the operation and we'll proceed with the purchase and setup within 72 business hours.
The purchase, setup, and management (annual renewal) of your domain name is billed at 20 USD/year.
A confirmation email will be sent to you by our domain manager (Gandi). You will need to validate the upload by following the instructions to finalize the procedure.
If you ever decide to leave our platform and unsubscribe (Oh no!) we will not keep the management of this domain name.
