Before starting
With the website editing tool, you can also choose the style of the header and footer of your website.
The header is the top bar fixed on each page, while the footer is the fixed information at the bottom.

How to access the header and footer settings
To change the header or footer information, photos, or design, go to Website > Main Settings > Settings and Themes and click on Header/Footer, as preferred.
Configure the header of your Website
Step 1: Display the editable elements
On this page, you have a preview of the website header. Click on Click here to show/hide what can be edited to edit the element of your preference.
Then, in the bottom section, by default you can modify any of these 4 elements: Logo, Buttons, Login, and Social media, plus images and information blocks, if your website theme allows it.
Step 2: Add a logo to the menu
Click on Modify the organization's logo. Upload your logo, validate, and save. Now, choose its positioning in the header.
You can also modify the logo, from Admin Settings page. From the homepage of your CRM, go to Settings > My Organization.
Step 3: Add custom buttons to the menu
Depending on the theme, it is possible to create a clickable button that appears in your menu. This button is visible on all of your pages. Here is an example:
In the header configuration page, click on Button, name it and indicate the page you want it to redirect to. You can add another button by clicking on Add a second button.
Step 4: Change the header photo(s)
Depending on the theme, you will have the option to modify the header image. Same as before, select the correspondent menu from the header configuration page.
Now, select the image of your choice to upload, which should be at least 1920px width to take up the entire width of the page.
Once loaded, your photo will appear. You can zoom in our out of this photo by clicking on the Zoom in/Zoom out buttons situated at the top left of the preview of your header.
You can upload more images if you want multiple photos to scroll in the header on your home page.
Step 5: Add a Log in button and Social Media shortcuts
Finally, to make it easier for your contacts to access their accounts and your social media, you can add a Login button and shortcuts to Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Linkedin and Pinterest. Simply check the appropriate boxes, as shown below:
Configure the footer of the Website
Step 1: Display the editable elements
Same process as before, just go to the footer preview page. Click on Click here to show/hide what can be edited to edit the element of your preference.
Then, in the bottom section, you can add or modify any of these 4 elements: Newsletter subscription, Free-text area, Social media, and Link to other pages.
Step 2: Add a Newsletter subscription section
Here you can add a newsletter block that allows users to sign up for your newsletter by indicating their email address. Just click the checkbox and it will be displayed as below:
Step 3: Add some free-text
You can also add text at the top of your footer. Click on Show a free-text area, and write the text you want in the box provided. This is how it will look:
Step 4: Add shortcuts to your Social media
By clicking on the Social media box, you can choose which to display in the footer. The logo of the corresponding social media will appear in the bottom right of the footer. The steps to configure the URL of each of your social networks are listed in this article.
Step 5: Link pages in the footer
With the option Link to other pages, you can configure the footer menu. This menu can redirect toward outside links or offer quick access to pages within your website.
To manage this menu, click on and label the dialogue box. Then, click on
to insert and edit a link.
Choose a title for the link and where to redirect (external site, or within your own website):
Click on , now your block is ready! Repeat the steps as necessary. This is what a block will look like:
You can sort the links by using the button. To rename any of them, use the cogwheel
, and the red "X" to delete.
