Before starting
A sale, membership campaign, or donation is over, and you'd like to archive it? Or would you like to publish a form that is still in draft form?
This article explains how.
Delete (archive) your form
A form cannot be completely removed from your Springly platform, as this could have an impact on other modules of the platform.
However, it is possible to archive it by following these steps:
- Go to the Forms module, then choose the form type: Memberships, Donations, Events or Online store. In this example we will use the Events' case.
- Move the mouse over the form you wish to modify, then click on Edit
In the Configuration tab of your form, a Status field is displayed whose possible values are Published, Draft, Sales on hold, and Archived.
- Select the desired status, and click on Save.
Please note that archived forms are no longer accessible to your contacts. However, this doesn't completely remove it: you can still find your archived forms in your forms menu. We explain how at the end of this article.
Modify the status of your form
To change the status of a form, the steps are the same as for archiving it (Form > Edit > Status). However, you can choose another status, namely:
- Published: your form will be available via a link and/or on your website.
- Draft: select if you still want to make changes to your form before releasing it. This will not be visible to those wishing to register.
- Sales on hold: select this status to interrupt sales (for example, when an event has ended). Registrations will no longer be possible and the form will no longer be visible.
Find and filter forms by status
You can find all your forms (including archived forms) and filter them.
To do this:
- Go to Forms & Campaigns, then to the desired form type (for example, Events)
- Click on "More filters", and a "Status" field appears. You can then choose to display archived/draft/published/suspended forms.
For example, here we look only for draft forms, so we check the cross for the other statuses (Published, Suspended, even Archived if they were visible):
