On Springly, you can rebuild your organizational network by creating groups within your Community.
When there are more than 50 simple or advanced groups affiliated with the head of a network, certain limitations are in place to ensure optimal page loading times, despite the large amount of data.
Displaying group-specific custom fields
Reminder: you can create custom fields specific to a group.
When the main organization has many direct groups (50 or more), it’s not possible to access the custom fields belonging to those groups directly from the main admin panel.
However, group administrators can still access them from their group’s admin space.
This rule applies across the board. Therefore, from the main admin panel, custom fields of “child” groups will not be displayed:
- In the profile details of contacts,
- Among the "information to display" options you can check just above the table in Community > Contacts,
- In Community Excel exports,
- In advanced search categories.
If you encounter this scenario and some information doesn’t appear, it’s not a bug but a technical decision made to ensure page loading speed.
Adding a contact to a group
From Community > Contacts in the main admin panel, you can add a contact to a group by selecting them and clicking the "Add to a group" button.
For clarity, not all groups are displayed when you have more than 50 groups. In this case, a search bar is available to help you easily find the group to which you want to add the selected contact.
