Before starting
If your organization has activated the CRM for Entities (Businesses), the software allows you to create entities to manage the information associated with legal entities.
Entities are, therefore (like people), contacts that are registered in the database (CRM) of a given organization.
This article deals with the following points:
Activate Entities in your software
The CRM for Entities is available to your organization free of charge and is already included in your software. You can start using Entities today by activating it in your Settings ⚙️ and scrolling to the bottom left of the menu to +Manage features.
At the bottom of the Features page, you'll find the switch to activate Entities.
Benefits of the Entities feature
- The feature is linked directly with your Community (CRM).
- It allows you to easily group Contacts belonging to the same legal entity. For more information on how CRM works, you can check out this article.
- You can use the feature to contact your Entities via a simple message/email.
- Create online memberships for Entities. For more information, you can check out this article about the Memberships feature.
Scope of the Entities' feature
🟢 Entities can be used in connection with:
- Community (or CRM).
- Memberships: A structure can join your association via a form created for entities.
- Emailing: You have the possibility to send emails to entities.
❌ Entities cannot be used with:
- Events: An entity cannot participate in a ticketing event
- Donations: It is not possible to create a donation collection specifically for entities.
- Online store: An entity cannot buy products in a store.
