Before starting
Like a contact, an entity can be communicated with by email either directly from the Community or Emailing tool.
This article is dedicated to the different ways to send an email.
Via the Community feature
From the Entities list
You can contact one or more structures directly from the page listing the organization's Structures via Community > Contacts > Entities > Contact.
From the profile of an Entity
You can also send an email to the entity directly from its contact form. The email used will be the one registered in the entity's contact form.
Via the Email feature
If the Email feature is activated, you can use it to contact your entities.
- You can add your email template and customize it.
- Choose the contact list of your choice.
For more information on email communication, check out this article.
Recipients list
Similarly to a group, it can be composed of both types of contacts: Entities and People. The list of recipients can be made up of both entities and people.
We recommend this article for more information on email lists.
Example:
John Doe and Google are registered in my CRM. If I add John and Google to my "Active Member Group", then when I send an email to the "Active Member Group", it will be sent to both contacts.
If I have linked a person to a certain entity, when I decide to send an email to the entity, the person linked to that entity will not automatically receive the email. We will only use the email that is registered in the contact form Entity.
