Before starting
We know volunteers, donors, and the general public can get interested in your organization at any moment and from any part of your website. For this reason, we have enabled in Springly the option to include contact forms on any editable pages.
In this article, we will cover:
How to add a contact form
There are two ways to access pages in edit mode to add a contact form:
From the admin interface
- Go to the Website > Menus and Pages.
- Click on the
icon on the page you wish to rework.
- Click on Edit page.
From the published interface
First, make sure to be logged in as an administrator (an "Administration" button will be shown in the top right corner). Then:
- Navigate to the page you want to edit.
- Click the Edit page button at the top of each page.
Note: Smart pages, as well as default Memberships and Donations pages, cannot be customized with additional contact forms.
Adding the contact form
In both cases you will be redirected to the editable page. Here just take the block "Contact" and drop it at the desired position on the checkerboard.
Set up and customization options
Once you've placed your block on the grid, a window opens. Then enter :
- Form name, which will be displayed as a title.
- Recipient, the e-mail address of the person who will receive the messages sent.
Other customization options include:
- Reduce or increase the height and/or width of your block.
- Edit the block (functionality also accessible by double-clicking on the block).
- Delete the block.
- Choose a background color.
- Choose a frame, changing the thickness, color and rounding corners.
- Modify inner and outer margins.
- Duplicate the form.
- Adding images (click here for further details).
