From the Accounting > Bank Transactions page, you can filter your transactions, understand their origin, ignore them, add them manually, or delete them. This article explains how to use each of these features.
It covers the following topics:
- Filter transactions
- Understand transaction sources
- Ignore a transaction
- Add a transaction manually
- Delete a transaction
Filter transactions
Several filters are available at the top of the page to refine the display:
- Period: limit the view to a date range;
- Amount: filter by amount range;
- Label: search by keyword in the transaction label.
The table shows the number of matching results as well as the total debits, credits, and balance for the selected period.
Understand transaction sources
Each transaction displays its source in a dedicated column in the table. There are three sources:
- Linxo: transaction imported automatically via the open banking connection;
- Import: transaction added via a CSV or OFX file;
- Manual: transaction created directly from the Bank Transactions page.
Ignore a transaction
Sometimes a transaction imported via Linxo appears as a duplicate — for example when Linxo changes the identifier or label of an already-imported transaction, preventing automatic duplicate detection. You can then ignore the transaction to exclude it from reconciliation.
To ignore a transaction:
- Click on the transaction to open the side panel
- Click Ignore transaction
The transaction moves to Ignored status. It remains visible in the table for traceability purposes, but no longer appears in reconciliation views.
To restore it to normal status, open the side panel and click Restore transaction.
💡 If the transaction was already reconciled, the reconciliation is automatically unlinked.
Add a transaction manually
If a bank transaction does not appear in AssoConnect — for example because it got stuck on the Linxo side and was not synced — you can create it directly.
To add a transaction:
- Click Add in the top right of the page
- Enter the date, label, and amount
- Click Save
The transaction appears with the source Manual and a reconciliation status of No. It is immediately available for reconciliation.
Delete a transaction
You can delete a transaction from its side panel.
⚠️ If you delete a transaction imported via Linxo, it may be automatically re-imported during the next sync. To permanently exclude a Linxo transaction from reconciliation, use the Ignore feature above instead.
