Before starting
Like many associations, you can find yourself faced with members who don't pay their membership fees on time.
Good management of your reminders helps you to reduce the average payment period, collect your memberships in an orderly and timely fashion, and therefore keep your cash flow afloat.

What are the best occasions to contact your members?
Very straightforward: when you find membership fees not paid on time.
How do I remind my members about their pending fees?
From your membership form
From the list of members, the filter "Sort by payment status" helps you to get a list of members with no payment/partial payment/paid status. In this way, you can send reminders to people who have not yet paid.
To do so, go to Forms & Campaigns > Memberships > Members, filter by "no payment", select them, and click on the "Send a message" button.
From your Community
You can also achieve this result from your Community.
Let's start in Community > Contacts, and click on Advance search.
A new menu will open on the left. Scroll to the Memberships dropdown, and in the field "Membership payment", select "Pending payment".
This can be useful if you have several membership forms (for example, one for new memberships and another for renewals).
You can do the same for donations. Check "Donation payment" and select "Pending payment".
All those who have not yet paid will appear on this list. Simply select all lines to contact them.
The amounts to be paid are not displayed on the table, and it is not possible to know which service they relate to. To obtain this information, you must manually consult the "Options" column in the corresponding form.
From payables/receivables in Accounting
By going to Accounting > Dashboard, you have access to all the main information on your cash position. You can click directly on "View" below "Receivables", to consult your received and pending payments.
If you scroll down a little further on the dashboard page, you'll see an insert dedicated to payables and receivables: you can also access your receivables from this small summary, by clicking on "Go to payables/receivables".
This takes you to the Payables/Receivables page, where you can refine your search to identify pending payments - if required, the eye on the right gives you access to the details of each line.
From this page, you can contact the people whose payment you are awaiting. Simply check them, then click on .
It is not possible to send automatic reminders in the software. Sending must be done manually via each module as described in this article.
